Mitoni for Tanya

Today's afternoon I visited my old friend from Junior High for her baby's 7 months anniversary (we called it Mitoni ,This is the first time I saw the old tradition of Central Java directly, from the changing clothes 7 times for the mother-to-be, the parents-to-be who's selling Rujak and Es Dawet.. quite interesting.

OLDIES

I like old songs which always sound beautiful yet ageless. I don’t know why, it’s not because I used to listen my parent’s old song but because it proves that even these days many singers remake old songs that were a big hit at that time. Let say Be Gees, Beatles, Peabo Bryson, Morris albert, Barry Manillow, Frank Sinatra and many more who are one of my mom’s favorites. One of my favorite singers from our country is the late Chrisye because my mom played those old songs even before I haven’t born. Even my little sister asking me about my real age, my knowledge of old songs is just like as good as the older who live that time.. I’m still young, you know?!

I like old times which are not as modern as now. For example like my hometown Jakarta, it haven’t been that crowded like now with that expensive cars, no hand phone, no blackberry—which like a part of our body now—or internet. Where the only way of communicate with our loves one just through phone or letters.. how classic all that things? Especially that not long ago I watched Indonesian’s old movies that are so original which made me laughing alone remembering about those old stories my mom like to tell, just exactly the same!

And finally couple months ago I met again with my old friend that I haven’t contact for quite a long time. It turned out that he’s older than me—not just the actual age, but he looks like someone who is age is around my parent’s age! He knew more about old times just like he’s going through it, even sometimes I feel like I’m talking to someone who is 10 or maybe 20 years older than me—don’t mad dear—but I’m really happy finding someone who has the same passion as me.

Some time ago I did photography with my bff when I spend a night at her house. The preparation which had been done in impromptu turned out very good more than I imagined before. Big hug for Fanny Susanti, you found the good angle of me. You know me so well~ (SMASH – I Heart You playing).hahahaha
